Deductible

A deductible in health insurance is an amount you have to pay out of pocket before your insurance starts covering the costs. For example, let’s say you have a deductible of Rs. 50,000. If you need medical treatment that costs Rs. 1,00,000, you would have to pay Rs. 50,000 yourself, and then your insurance would cover the remaining Rs. 95,000. The deductible is like a threshold you have to meet before your insurance kicks in.
